Big Sister!!

I'm a big sister now!! I absolutely LOVE this baby! I want to hold him and kiss him. I can do it all by myself too!! (This makes my mom a little bit nervous!) I can't wait to spoil my baby brother when he comes home! For now, i love to watch video of him on my moms cell phone. I get really mad and say 'MINE' when she tries to take the phone away :)

And since i'm so big now, i even get to drink my moms diet coke!! I'm a big girl now!!

Bye bye Gigi bye bye Pluto..

Libbi has gotten the hang of saying "Jerzi" but "Koy" is really hard for her! Jerzi sounds a bit like GiGi, which i find ADORABLE! Jerzi, not so much. She likes her to call her JERZI! Anyway, we dropped the kids off at school yesterday and she says..
"bye bye gigi, bye bye pluto" Wait What?
I say "Libbi, say bye bye KOY" she says.
"bye bye gigi bye bye yoyo" UM ???
So again i say 'KOY' She says..
"bye bye gigi bye bye blah blah" hmm.. ok maybe she gave up!
Well today as they were leaving she says
"bye bye gigi, bye bye mi-mow" (for those that missed that post, that means minnie mouse) soo.... my conclusion.. she calls Koy whatever she wants!! Whether it be pluto, yoyo or mi-mow!! Silly girl!!

SHE DID IT!

I know it's only been 24 hours, but she has taken a nap and gone to bed with NO BOTTLE!! And look....
SHES OK!! and so am i :)
She is looking a little rough in these pics. It was a tough night, she went down about 830, and starting about 1030 she was up every 20-30 minutes. She didn't cry too hard, just wimpered a bit. I would rub her back and she'd fall back asleep. I really think it was more because she is sick, not the bottle. Finally about 2 she fell asleep til this morning. I am taking her today to Dr Rose, i think she's got ear infections.. we will see.
But all in all we are doing ok! She was looking everywhere thismorning for her babas but once she realized they were nowhere to be found, she brought me a sippy cup to fill up. She is a good kid :) Like i said, it's only been 1 day, but i wasn't sure i would make it 1 hour so i'm happy!!

The kids had crazy hair day this week, and Jerzi had bows everywhere. Well obviously Libbi noticed because she brought me all her bows this morning to put in her hair :) Pretty girl!

No more bottle???

Ok this has been a long hard decision for me to make but i decided today that we are going to get rid of the bottle BEFORE the baby comes! I may regret it but for now that's the plan. I took Libbi shopping this morning and got her a Minnie Mouse doll, a book and some new jammies. We then came home and she helped as i cut the bottle nipples off and then she threw everything in the garbage. I then carried the sack outside saying 'bye bye babas' as she chased me screaming :) When i came back in i handed her the new minnie mouse doll, she threw it at me :) O boy what have i done! Well naptime came and after a few attempts of giving her a sippy, she threw those overboard everytime, she FINALLY fell asleep! Success!! She woke up and wanted a baba, Kurt gave her a sippy with milk and SHE TOOK IT! Bedtime came and i put her down, let her cry for 5 mintues, went in picked her up, rocked her a bit, put her back down and left. After 10 mintues i went back in, picked her up again, rocked her and told her i'd get her a sippy with milk if she wanted that. She said 'ya' so i got her a sippy, took it in, she laid down, and i haven't heard her yet! It can't be this easy.. i'm sure at 2am i will be wanting to drive to walmart to get a bottle. Wish us luck, and some overneeded rest! She has been up that last few nights sick. again. Monday night she threw up, ran a fever all day Tuesday, was doing ok yesterday but has a snot nose today. I really think she may have ear infections again. Probably from the bottle every night, this is half my reasoning for getting rid of it now!! Good night! (I HOPE!!)

All her 'bye bye baba' prizes!!

Echo January 2011

Here are the pics i promised from her echo.
This was what a toddler does while waiting for the iv team. Maybe thats where her most recent sickness came from??

This is what the face of a toddler looks like after being poked.. TWICE.. Yes, we went through that again! Couldn't get her first hand so they had to poke both :(

This is her on her 'way out' She was giggling, it was sort of funny, but not. I hated it :(

Sleepy baby...

During the echo i forgot to snap any pictures. This is right after, as she started waking up

She was trying to wave to us in this picture :)

In the recovery, our nurses name was MINDI, even spelled just like me! That was picture worthy :) She was only our nurse for a half hour, then we came home..

FINALLY getting something in her belly! She downed the apple juice!

Attempting to say 'cheese' but still a littel groggy..

And resting with daddy-o. He got more rest than her i think...

It was a good visit :) (read below for details, this was just a picture blog update!)
This is Paul Cardell's CHD video. (I put it at the bottom of the blog, it fits best there..) It is shocking how many people, young and old are dealing with the same type of things we are. Take 9 minutes and watch, these are some of the cutest babies i've seen!! Libbi is about 6 and a half minutes into the video. (make sure you scroll down and pause my music playlist so you can hear his music, he is a pianist, it is very pretty!)
