September 10
We got a call today to schedule the surgery. I thought we would wait until after her heart cath on Thursday but because of the tight schedule they called today :( It made it real. Anyway it is on September 10th. It's a Thursday, 4 weeks from now. It will be a stressful wait but i know she will be fine. The 2-3 weeks before she will be back in a bubble. They said if she were to get sick they couldn't do the surgery and we would have to reschedule so dig out your hand sanitizer cause it's back!! Hopefully my kids will stay healthy when school starts!!

It does feel so real when you have the date huh. We had ours scheduled for i think like a friday and they called on a monday and said can you do it tomorrow, i freaked but said yes i didn't have much time to think about it. Sept.10 is my birthday:) Now it seems like a day your dreading but a year from know you will be like sept.10 is the day she got her broken heart fixed:) Your in my prayers as is libbi
Hooray! Finally the waiting is over. I liked at least knowing so I could prepare, but if Libbi is like most of the kiddos I have met post Glenn, she should sail through this and be home before you know it! We will be here tomorrow, so feel free to stop by and kill some time in our room (3088)
Oh, having a date makes it more real!! I'm sorry! Enjoy being out with her until the bubble time begins! haha! Let us know as it gets closer and we can have a HUGE fast for Libbi and your fam! let me know!!
